What is this resource?
A template for creating a Chart of Accounts (often abbreviated CoA) for arts & culture nonprofits at a range of sizes, with lots of commonly-used income & expense categories you can modify to be relevant to your organization’s programming.
A nonprofit’s CoA has to serve many different needs, and this template is structured to flexibly meet those needs while still being intuitive and easy to read. It also includes some common balance sheet accounts with explanations of what they are used for.
